St George's Day Celebrations
St George's Day Celebrations...
On Friday we learnt about the patron saint of England, St George. We watched a video about St George's heroics, we re-enacted the story and we also learnt about coats of arms. We then made our own shields and pretended we were St George, slaying the dragon!
We enjoyed parading our shields around the hall during celebration assembly too.
