Dressing Up Day!

Today we wore clothes from a different era. We looked at the styles from across the decades and discussed the differences.

We attended a fashion show in the school hall where the children had a chance to strut their stuff on the runway.

After that we got ourselves into a timeline showing how fashions have changed!

Week 4...

Getting creative in Reception...

This term we are learning about clothing! In Reception we decided to draw around each other and use our 'positional language' to describe where the pencil was going!

After that we chose to paint and decorate our bodies with different items of clothing. Come in and see the results in red room!

Some of us have also been choosing to learn to sew!! You can see the evidence below...

Here are the winners of the 'star of the week' certificates and 'WOW moments'.

Week 3...

In maths we have been learning about Fractions of shapes in year 2. Miss Arnold challenged us to find certain fractions on our strips of paper. We had to use our problem solving skills!

In Year 1 we have been concentrating on place value and how 2 digit numbers are made. We have been doing this in many different ways!

Week 2...

It Snowed!!

Snow finally came to Norfolk!

We were in the middle of our English lesson when we spotted out of the window the snow falling heavily!

We threw our pencils to one side, pulled on our wellies and rushed outside

See how much fun we had..
